The REH and TOM1 PB cells had increased expression of CEBPB, SGK1, and SIGLEC15, while the SUP-B15 PB cells had increased expression of CEBPB and MVP. C/EBP-β is one of the most up-regulated transcription factors associated with chemotherapy resistance in a model of AML and in a study of multi-drug resistance22,23. This evidence concerns the gene TOM1 and acute myeloid leukemia.
