Taken together, our data showed that the inflammatory response triggered by IL-6 enhanced the expressions of m6A genes by activating the STAT3 pathway, and then regulated the stability and translation of stemness-related genes in an m6A-IGF2BP2-dependent manner, ultimately facilitating CCA cell stemness and tumor progression (Figure 7C). The gene discussed is IGF2BP2; the disease is cholangiocarcinoma.
