A [11C]DASB [3-amino-4-(2-dimethylaminomethylphenylsulfanyl)-benzonitrile] positron emission tomography study of cervical dystonia patients revealed a significant correlation between serotonin transporter (SERT) binding in the dorsal raphe nucleus and motor and nonmotor symptoms (29). The gene discussed is SLC6A4; the disease is cervical dystonia.
