Of the nine genes, seven were related to a high risk of CRC (KLC3, LINC00634, NHLRC4, C11orf45, ZKSCAN2, KIF7, and ODF3L2; HR > 1), and two seemed to be protective genes (KIF9 and SALL1; HR < 1). This evidence concerns the gene ZKSCAN2 and colorectal carcinoma.
