To evaluate whether INHBA overexpression induces the epithelial–mesenchymal transition (EMT) phenotypes in BC cells, we analyzed the expression of several epithelial markers (E-cadherin, ZO-1, CK-8, CK-18 and CK-19) and mesenchymal markers (ZEB1, Snail, Slug, N-cadherin, Vimentin and Fibronectin) at the mRNA and protein levels. This evidence concerns the gene INHBA and breast cancer.
