CDX2 and neoplasm: This confirms, on one hand, the aleatory significance of transcription factors in the diagnostic management of NECs [11] and, on the other hand, the aberrant expression of CDX2 in endometrioid carcinoma, which has been well documented, especially in tumor with CTNNB1 mutation and with squamous differentiation, but has also been demonstrated in absence of squamous morulae [12].
