In this present study, the results showed that artesunate remarkably reduced the mRNA and protein levels of RIPK1, RIPK3 and cyclin D1 as well as phosphorylation of MLKL in cis‐induced AKI and LPS‐stimulated mTEC, indicating that artesunate significantly inhibited necroptosis. The gene discussed is RIPK3; the disease is acute kidney injury.
