Challenging cases within the oncocytic spectrum of renal neoplasia are in fact encountered frequently, including an intermediate diagnostic category [21], cases exhibiting low-/high-grade oncocytic morphology [15], [22], and other less common eosinophilic tumours, including an epithelioid angiomyolipoma, SDH-deficient RCC [23], and FH-deficient RCC [24].
