Ross et al. showed that the genomic alteration rates in TP53 and KMT2D were 86 and 17%, respectively, in 98 cases (Ross et al., 2014); in the Hu study, the mutation frequencies for TP53 and KMT2D were 93.4 and 15.6%, respectively, in 122 patients with small cell lung cancer (Hu et al., 2019). Here, TP53 is linked to small cell lung carcinoma.
