A combined treatment approach with anti-VEGF agents and systemic anti-inflammatory treatment was effective in the management of inflammatory choroidal neovascularization among eyes with various etiologies: punctate inner choroidopathy/multifocal choroiditis, sarcoidosis, serpiginous choroiditis, Vogt–Koyanagi–Harada disease, toxoplasmosis, and nocardiosis. The gene discussed is VEGFA; the disease is sarcoidosis.
