Based on extensive database mining, FLAD1 was found to be overexpressed in various cancers, including kidney renal papillary cell carcinoma, head-neck squamous cell carcinoma, esophageal cancers, colon adenocarcinoma, cholangiocarcinoma, breast invasive carcinoma, bladder urothelial carcinoma, and liver hepatocellular carcinoma. This evidence concerns the gene FLAD1 and bladder transitional cell carcinoma.
