FOXD2-AS1 has close associations with many diseases, for example, nasopharyngeal carcinoma, esophageal cancer, bladder cancer, multiple pterygium syndrome, escobar variant, and ulcerative colitis (Bao et al., 2018; Chen et al., 2018; Su et al., 2018; Huang et al., 2020; Liu et al., 2020). Here, FOXD2 is linked to multiple pterygium syndrome.
