Although a suppression of GRK2 protein expression (~55%) and kinase activity was found in peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) in patients with RA compared with healthy subjects (74), the translocation of GRK2 in PBMCs and the expression pattern of GRK2 in the pathological areas of joints are of great significance to elucidate the mechanism by which GRK2 regulates angiogenesis and needs further study.
