A number of immune cells can produce IL-17A including LTi, Th17 T cells and γδ T cells, which has been implicated in autoimmune and inflammatory diseases such as multiple sclerosis, psoriasis, rheumatoid arthritis, crescentic glomerulonephritis, lupus nephritis and uveitis, among others (66–82). Here, IL17A is linked to crescentic glomerulonephritis.
