The levels of 8 proteins showed differences in asthmatic patients (IL-6, CXCL1, MMP-1, CSF-1, CXCL5, CCL3, CCL23 and TNFSF14, nominal P < 0.05) while 40 proteins showed significant differences in COPD patients. This evidence concerns the gene CSF1 and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
