TH and Low back pain: Sensory inputs from the visceral tissues are carried to the central nervous system by spinal and cranial afferents.28 Oury et al. reported that CREB expression in VMH neurons favors bone mass accrual by inhibiting the activity of sympathetic neurons.53 Takeda et al. reported that the sympathetic nervous system is important to the regulation of bone formation.54 Our finding that low-dose celecoxib increased pCREB levels in the VMH and decreased TH expression in the PVN and cervicothoracic ganglion suggests the involvement of skeletal interoception in skeletal diseases and LBP.
