Indeed, there is a documented case of germline BAP1 mutation with multiple primary cancers, including synchronous lung adenocarcinoma with concurrent BAP1 and ERBB2 mutations, bilateral malignant pleural mesothelioma, metachronous peritoneal malignant mesothelioma, intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma, bladder urothelial carcinoma, and prostatic adenocarcinoma [11]. Here, BAP1 is linked to prostate adenocarcinoma.
