Other factors that tended to be associated with DKA recurrence but were not significant after adjusting for other factors included a history of depression (25% vs. 15%, unadjusted odds ratio (OR) = 1.9, 1.0–3.6, p = 0.05), low eGFR (33 vs. 17%, OR = 2.5, 0.87–6.7, p = 0.09), and insulin pump use (0 vs. 19%, OR = 0.17, 0.00–1.33, p = 0.11).
