One hundred and twenty-six genes were significantly regulated in the T24 and 5637 cells by lnc-STYK1-2 silencing (FDR < 0.001; log2 ratio > 1 or <  − 1), containing 109 downregulated and 17 upregulated mRNAs in lnc-STYK1-2-silenced bladder cancer cells compared with the negative control groups (Fig. 4A). Here, STYK1 is linked to urinary bladder carcinoma.
