Multivariate regression analysis showed that high levels of IL-6 (OR: 5.23, 95% CI: 1.15–23.86; p = 0.033) and low levels of ALB (OR: 0.16, 95% CI: 0.04–0.64; p = 0.009) were significantly associated with CIP (Table 3). This evidence concerns the gene IL6 and hereditary sensory and autonomic neuropathy.
