For patients with HIV/AIDS who had a baseline CD4+ T-cell count of <200 cells/mL or 200–350 cells/mL, the CD4+ T-cell count increased significantly during the early stage of treatment, with the increase occurring faster in the TCM + cART group than in the cART group, and when the CD4+ T-cell count reached approximately 350 cells/mL, the difference between the two groups disappeared and the rate of increase slowed down. This evidence concerns the gene CD4 and AIDS.
