This analysis strategy revealed the Androgen Receptor (AR) as the top prostate cancer-specific gene hit, but the next four top-ranked hits were genes not previously associated with prostate cancer: KIF4A, MRPL13, NDUFB11, and TSR2 (top 5) (Fig. 1D and Supplementary Data 3). The gene discussed is TSR2; the disease is prostate carcinoma.
