Recent studies demonstrate that DGCR5 is significantly dysregulated in gastric cancer (Xu et al., 2019), liver cancer (Wang Y.G. et al., 2018; Wang et al., 2019), and lung cancer (Chen et al., 2017; Dong et al., 2018; Luo et al., 2018; Wang R. et al., 2018), among others. This evidence concerns the gene DGCR5 and liver cancer.
