The results demonstrated that the T193/209A mutation in PD-L1 reduced its expression but the T193/209D mutation increased its expression in pancreatic cancer cells, while the K37R mutation in NEK2 caused its loss of regulatory effect on the expression and phosphorylation of PD-L1 (Fig. 6e–g). The gene discussed is NEK2; the disease is familial pancreatic carcinoma.
