BDNF and Alzheimer disease: One of these experimentalmodels, central injection of colchicine, was injected intothe lateral ventricles, which is measured as appropriatecases of sporadic dementia of Alzheimer’s in humans.During the AD, the level of BDNF was considerablyreduced in the hippocampal tissue as compared tothe untreated rats and dose-dependently treatment ofisoquercetin significantly increased the level of BDNFsuggesting the neuroprotective effect via neurotrophininduction.
