Similarly, the expression of cleaved-caspase 3 in the LPS+FSC231 group was significantly increased in immunohistochemistry, but in the case of using FSC231 alone, the expression of cleaved-caspase 3 did not change significantly (Figure 3(d)), suggesting that under the conditions of LPS-induced septic kidney injury, PICK1 inhibition aggravated the apoptosis of renal cells.
