In recent studies, miR-103a-3p has been reported to promote migration, invasion, and apoptosis of thyroid cancer cells by downregulating LATS1 via Hippo signaling [19], while in prostate cancer, miR-103a-3p has been shown to suppress the proliferation and invasion by targeting D52 [20]. This evidence concerns the gene LATS1 and thyroid gland carcinoma.
