ARPC5 may function as an oncogene in the development of lung squamous cell carcinoma (lung SCC) and head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC) and contributes to cancer cell migration and invasion, which is directly regulated by miRNA (Moriya et al., 2012), (Kinoshita et al., 2012). This evidence concerns the gene ARPC5 and head and neck squamous cell carcinoma.
