In addition, we also evaluated the expression of immune checkpoints in both groups, where LAG3, HAVCR2, CTLA4, and TICIT were up-regulated in the group with high expression of CD34/CD276 (Wilky, 2019; He and Xu, 2020), which further confirmed that the high expression of CD34/CD276 drives immune escape in CRC. Here, CD34 is linked to colorectal carcinoma.
