The β-adrenergic receptors (β1, β2, β3) are a group of G protein-coupled receptors that mediate SNS signal transduction and activate downstream signaling pathways to prepare the body for “fight or flight.” β2-Adrenergic receptor (ADRB2) is overexpressed in ovarian cancer and cervical cancer and is positively correlated with a poor prognosis in patients (Lutgendorf et al., 2009; Huang et al., 2016; Chen et al., 2017). Here, ADRB2 is linked to ovarian carcinoma.
