EIF2S3 and Klinefelter syndrome: Indeed, Klinefelter Syndrome patients have been reported to have an increased risk of ASDs (Visootsak and Graham, 2009; Tartaglia et al., 2010; Bishop et al., 2011; Hong and Reiss, 2014; Green et al., 2019); and our results suggest that an increased expression of EIF2S3 may at least partially contribute to this.
