ARHGAP1 and infection: These data suggest that hnRNP K may impact actin dynamics through alternative splicing of Arhgap30, Arhgap1, and Baiap2. Furthermore, our results argue that individual splicing factors can contribute to innate immune and infection outcomes in unique ways and demonstrate that together, transcriptomics and alternative splicing analysis has the potential to identify host factors that regulate the host-pathogen interface.
