The aforementioned results show that at late stage of infection, anti-inflammatory/restorative macrophages (Ly6Clow/-) are increased (Figures 3B, C), while molecules responsible for tissue repair (TGF-β, IGF-1, OPN) are upregulated (Figures 3I, J), and the postsynaptic motor end plates of NMJs are repaired (Figure 4B).
