MFN2 and cardiovascular disorder: Mfn2 is known to be involved in cardiovascular disorders; for example, large tumor suppressor kinase 2 was found to activate oxidative stress-induced apoptosis by suppressing the peroxiredoxin 3–Mfn2 signaling pathway in cardiomyocytes (Tian et al., 2019; Wang and Zhou, 2020; Wang et al., 2020a,b).
