Reciprocal bone marrow transfers between WT and IL-4Rα-deficient (Fig. 4A) potentially suggested that non-hematopoietic (WT BM to IL-4Rα-deficient mice transfer) locus of IL-4Rα expression was in part responsible for the HF + HC diet-driven weight gain (Fig. 4B) and altered adiposity (Supplementary Fig. 11A–C). The gene discussed is IL4R; the disease is hydrops fetalis.
