The aim of this study was to evaluate the infiltration patterns and the presence of cancer associated fibroblast (FAP+) in bladder tumors in correlation with HLA-I and PD-L1 expression in order to characterize stromal reaction in tumor microenvironment and compare “permissive” and “non-permissive” immunophenotypes in bladder cancer progression in correlation with clinicopathologic variables. This evidence concerns the gene FAP and urinary bladder neoplasm.
