As mentioned above, a distinct CD4+/LAG-3+/FOXP3− T cell subset, expressing IL-10 and TGFβ, was recently identified by Aoki et al [20].; it probably corresponds to a Th1-type T-regs population, able to reduce both proliferation and TNF production in LAG-3− T cells and previously demonstrated to suppress effector CD8+ T-cell function in cHL [38]. The gene discussed is TNF; the disease is classic Hodgkin lymphoma.
