TRIM28 and cancer: A group of bromodomain protein genes are consistently highly expressed across several different tumor types, including ATAD2, KAT2A, bromodomain and WD repeat domain containing 3 (BRWD3), Tripartite motif 28 (TRIM28), SWI/SNF related, matrix associated actin dependent regulator of chromatin, subfamily A, member 4 (SMARCA4), BRD9, and bromodomain adjacent to zinc finger domain 1A (BAZ1A). The expression of several of these genes has previously been documented in different cancers.
