There are some indications that CRNDE can promote glioma malignancy through activation of EGFR signaling [72] and miR-384/PIWIL4/STAT3 axis [74], by preventing miR-136-5p-mediated down-regulation of Bcl-2 and Wnt2 [75] and mTOR [76] pathways, and can also trigger inflammation through the TLR3-NF-κB-cytokine signaling pathway [77].
