Considering the high level of inflammation in OS 2, 3 and the importance of inflammation in promoting tumour progression as well as the close correlation between inflammation and DNA damage,11, 12 we utilized tumour necrosis factor α (TNF‐α) and bacterial lipopolysaccharides (LPS) to induce an inflammatory response to simulate the inflammatory microenvironment of OS in the following experiments.
