Furthermore, a comparison of patients’ post-operative ALRI level was made between patients with different tumor size (≤6 or >6 cm), different TNM stage (I-II or III), and different albumin level (≤34 or >34 g/L), and results showed that advanced tumor (tumor size >6 cm, III stage of TNM stage, or lower albumin ≤34 g/L) had higher ALRI level (P < 0.05) (Figures 2B and S1B), suggesting that high ALRI might be associated with poor physical condition of HCC patients, thus leading to poor clinical outcomes.
