FHL2 and cancer: Moreover, it was found that co-transfection of miR-340-5p mimic and TSB, but not with control TSB, had significantly higher invasion and migration of cancer cells (Figs. 6A and B, and S3, S4), suggesting that miR-340-5p inhibits cancer cell migration and invasion by targeting a specific binding site at the 3′-UTR of FHL2 mRNA.
