GNRH1 and polycystic ovary syndrome: Women with PCOS demonstrate increased frequencies and amplitudes of GnRH and LH pulses, increased LH levels, reduced FSH and an increased LH to FSH ratio, and a reduced capacity to mount the LH surge that initiates ovulation (Chang & Cook‐Andersen, 2014; Chen et al., 2015; Coyle & Campbell, 2019; McCartney & Campbell, 2020).
