We focused on the observation that ANGPTL3 is required by ANGPTL8 to inhibit LPL [14, 17, 19] and the co-expression of ANGPTL3 and ANGPTL8 induces more pronounced hypertriglyceridemia than the overexpression of ANGPTL3 alone [17, 19]. This evidence concerns the gene LPL and hypertriglyceridemia.
