Bioinformatic sequence analyses and literature searches in the present study identified several potential target genes for each miRNA, associated with Chagas disease, inflammation, and chemokines: Gsk3b, Creb1, Igf1r, Pdpk1, Map3k1, Iqgap1, Tiam1, Bcl2, Smad5, Nfatc1 and Nfat5, which were proved by RT-qPCR. This evidence concerns the gene NFATC1 and Chagas disease.
