As calcium overload and Ach releasing are contributing factors for triggering AF, we established a mouse AF model by intravenous administration of CaCl2‐Ach mixture daily and used a special necroptosis inhibitor, Nec‐1 (1.65 mg/kg), to inhibit necroptosis to identify the role of necroptosis in AF pathogenesis. The gene discussed is PCSK1; the disease is atrial fibrillation.
