Furthermore, we observe that a number of kinases previously reported to be involved in breast cancer such as PDGFRα, PDGFRβ (platelet-derived growth factor receptor α/β) [40], FGFR (fibroblast growth factor receptor) 1/2/3/4 [41], Akt 1 and Akt2 [42], and Pim1 [43] are also activated, validating our data and strengthening the reliability of our results. This evidence concerns the gene PIM1 and breast carcinoma.
