Given the role of the four TFs (SALL2, SOX2, OLIG2, and POU3F2) in reprogramming differentiated glioblastoma cells into stem-like cells13 and the potential role of FOSL1 in regulating them as postulated by Fiscon and colleagues, our first goal was to investigate the molecular relationship between FOSL1 and the four TFs. The gene discussed is OLIG2; the disease is glioblastoma.
