While mutations in DNMT3A act as negative prognostic factor in patients with acute myeloid leukemia (AML) [20,21], DNTM1 ablation in Teffs and its inhibition by DNMTs inhibitor 5-aza-2′-deoxycytidine (Aza) lead to an increase in Foxp3 expression in these cells. This evidence concerns the gene DNMT3A and acute myeloid leukemia.
