In the fully adjusted models, higher Z-score hs-CRP concentration was associated with higher odds of CAD among Dutch [1·63 (1·21–2·18), p = 0·001], higher odds of PAD among South-Asian Surinamese [1·25 (1·03–1·53), p = 0·024], and lower odds of PAD in African Surinamese [0·71 (0.54–0·94),p = 0·016]. Here, CRP is linked to coronary artery disorder.
